Be a Job Placement Specialist
Innovative Ways 4U is seeking individuals who have previous experience as Job Coaches with Job Training Specialist credentials that are interested in becoming more involved in the overall employment process necessary to assist our clients with gaining employment. This position is a contract position and the Job Placement Specialist will earn a commission based on benchmarks reached by the client as they progress through the employment experience.
The primary role of the Job Placement Specialist is to teach and assist the client in executing the skills necessary to prepare for and complete job searching activities necessary to obtain competitive integrated employment. The Job Placement specialist will assist clients in executing the skills needed to prepare for and complete job searching activities, such as:
Gathering information for a client’s employment data sheet
Application completion
Creating individualized resumes
Interviewing
Job searching for open positions that meet the client’s individual needs, wants and desires in employment
Job acceptance
Addressing employment barriers
Since this position pays only commission based on the client benchmarks and the Job Training Specialist credential is a prerequisite for the credential necessary to become a credentialed Job Placement Specialist, hourly compensated Job Coaching opportunities will also be offered if desired.

Requirements
Eligible candidates will have already obtained the UNTWISE Job Skills Trainer certification.
Eligible candidates will be willing to obtain or have already obtained the UNTWISE Job Placement Specialist certification: https://untwise.catalog.instructure.com/ Select one of the Job Placement options. Course fee will be 100% reimbursed by Innovative Ways 4U upon successful completion of the course, earning the credential, and if the candidate performs the duties of a Job Placement Specialist for Innovative Ways 4U for 90 days.
Eligible candidates will be required to pass a background check.
Eligible candidates will be required to pass a sex offender check.
In order to be financially compensated, eligible candidates must be legally able to work as a contract worker (1099 A).
